Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
Classroom Tracker is a private, non-commercial tool operated for one family. This policy explains what data it accesses and how that data is handled.
Data the tool accesses
With the permission of the Google account holder, the tool reads the following through the Google Classroom API:
- course names and course status;
- coursework details, such as titles, due dates and maximum points;
- the account holder's own submission status and returned grades.
Access is read-only. The tool does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive or other Google services.
How the data is used
The data is used only to show study progress to the student and family members chosen by the operator, through a private dashboard. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is not used to train AI models.
Where the data is stored and shared
Copies of the data and the authorization token are stored on a server controlled by the operator. Information is shared only as needed to run the tool:
- the hosting and network providers that run the server and website;
- an AI coding assistant the operator uses to build and debug the tool, which may process this data during that work.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Classroom Tracker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept only while the tool is in use. The account holder can stop access at any time on the Google Account permissions page. To have stored data deleted, write to the address below.
Students under 18
The tool is used only with the knowledge of the student whose account is connected and, for a student under 18, of a parent or guardian. It is not offered to the general public or directed at children.
